Rubber Lover

Slowly getting back into this blogging lark now, even though I lost yet another camera >:( ah well, I'll just have to make do with my extremo bad webcam... for now! ((First camera is going into repair...)

T-shirt - H&M
Grey cardi - Topshop
Tights - Topshop

Cardi - All Saints
T-shirt - Topshop
Skirt - H&M
Tights - Topshop

Both outfits will be worn with silver T-bar heels from Office, which I love but they are incredibly trashed from one too many dancing nights... even though I haven't yet had a chance to wear the outfits from the last post due to excessive work and school commitments...

Also big hugs and kisses to those who commented last time (and everyone who read) 'tis much appreciated, even though I continuously forget to reply... I'll leave you with some lovely pictures i've accumulated over the last few months, from two of my favourite designers.

No You Girls

More than one month later!

Apologies most sincere for the drought, I had fallen into a malaise...(best excuse ever?) but never fear, lots of shopping was undertaken, and I am getting much closer to completing my quest for the perfect hot chocolate (any suggestions very welcome!) I've got so much to show, but i'm going to start with a few new pieces (ALL Topshop :O) My internet has also been playing up, so any access I have had has been for very minimal amounts of time...
But anyway, the purchase of lots and lots of lovely clothes, plus my equally lovely new red camera, and the return of my semi-functioning internet connection, have inspired me to start posting again, yaaayyyy!

Haven't actually worn these outfits out yet, but yes, I am one of those people who likes to plan their outfits, it saves so much worry on nights out and ensures I don't just fall into a rut of the same old safe clothes! I also have a geeky fetish for organisation...

All Topshop!

All Topshop again, except ranodm stripy tee from god know's where...

MY NEW SHOES! And I love them love them love them, even if they are ridiculously high and difficult to wear...

Made Up Stories

Sorry for the drought dudes, I smashed my brand new camera and it will cost more than the original price to repair it :((( so i've been kind of depressed...
it had pictures of all my recent outfits and these are the only ones I have on my computer:

Skirt - H&M
Tank H&M
Hoody - H&M
Jacket - Topshop
Bracelets - Vintage

This is me welcoming Spring, i'm trying to ease myself out of dressing for arctic temperatures, I always end up way overheating...

On a brighter note, the fashion weeks have rolled around again! And I have to say i'm much more enthralled this time round, what with Marc Jacobs and Rodarte blowing my mind (to name but a few) I'm trying to track down some pictures as we speak, but for now I shall leave you with my current wish list, and a promise of another outfit post sometime after Friday (got a very exciting gig to go to, one of my favourite occasions to dress for)

1. The Tavi T-shirt - it's basically just the epitome of awesome.

2. This bag, it will make me happy:

3. The usual Topshop affinities:

(Red/Grey/Black/White still playing a major part in my wardrobe...)

4. THE Emma Cook for topshop boots, which I really don't think I need to show a picture of! i am determined to get my hands on a pair of these, preferably in grey :) (Size 6, in case you're wondering...)

5. This superb slightly tacky satin AA jacket:

Though I still can't decide which colour! I'll probably be going on my first ever AA spree in March when I visit Glasgow, excitement!

Much love,

Show Me Heaven

Well here it is:

This fabulous snow has me stuck inside all day with nothing to do but formulate outfits and bake, so while the chocolate cake's in the oven, I will share my Topshop related adventures.
The other day I purchased these mmmm-tastic Alice McCall troosers in the sale (£10!!!), and came home only to find myself falling into the same old trap of subconsciously imitating the Topshop lookbooks of the season.
Today it is "Memphis" described as:

"Take a trip to Memphis - America's Deep South - as splatter bleached denim, feather print tunics and slashed tees are infused with ethnic nuances. Pale jeans and oversized dresses are given a hand crafted feel with Mexican style embroidered trims, while cowboy shirts are strewn with stud work. With a nod to Rodeo styling, cropped jackets appear in lilac and marine-blue suede and shrunken waistcoats are adorned with folkloric prints. Leather satchels, studded heels and boots with tasselled laces finish off the Memphis look."

Ok so that doesn't really describe this outfit at all, but the leather boots and jacket, denim shirt and rodeo rousers are all part of the Memphissy thang, don't you think?

Jacket - H&M
Rose brooch - Vintage
Denim shirt - Thrifted
Tank - H&M
Necklace - random chain
Trousers- Alice McCall @ Topshop
Cuff - H&M
Bag - Marc B @ Topshop
Boots - J by Jasper Conran

Can't you feel the Ethnic Nuances?

Teehee, lova ya really Topshop.

(Later: I will be exploring the theme of "Glory Days", and possibly even embarking on a journey through "Sport Nouveau"...)

From The Stars

Find Of The Week: This super cuddly two-tone cardi! Oh so preppy and fabulously 80s, therefore I love it :)

Cardi - Vintage
Zipper Dress - H&M

Lace Leggings - Topshop

Lace Scarf - Random/Found

Currently struggling to find the perfect outfit for it though, black was the obvious choice, but I'm thinking white or navy? Still a bit boring... Hmmm...
